We clicked through onto the CRMx10 system from SmallBizCRM. I must admit, after seeing the front page, it wasn't as flash aesthetically as other systems we have now reviewed; however, the functionality far outstrips its appearance. CRMx10 is the only truly free, fully functional system we have found, where most other "free" sites seem to rely on upgrades. Either that, or free sites are extremely limited. We have now been testing this particular site for 4 weeks to see how we can integrate it into our sales/marketing departments and feel that it is a good fit with the majority of our needs. It does take a while to get used to the mechanics of CRM x10, and their forums were down temporarily when we last looked, but their direct e-mail support was virtually instantaneous and very helpful. We have completed our systems analysis and have decided to continue with this one. Thank you SmallBizCRM! Ant

I have been with freecrm.x10 now for over a year and it has developed substantially over that period. Initially, we were tempted by the "free", "unlimited" and "multi-user" aspects of freecrm.10hosting - which they have retained. Now, we have 24 users with over 6000 contacts - and it proves an invaluable addition to our sales efforts. We have also looked into many other free hosted solutions, but found them too restrictive, unless the full product is purchased. In all fairness, freecrm.x10hosting does provide pretty much everything we need. Recently, they have added a good e-mailshot function, together with import and export features, which we have found useful to integrate indepedant Outlook contacts into one data warehouse. FreeCRMx10 may not be suited to everyone, but our organisation now would find it difficult to do without! Hats off to the developers.

I too have found this site and registered to find out what it's like. I have to say, for a free site (and when I say free, there are no "upgrade" charges!) It's pretty comprehensive. I noticed that the database structure is very similar to what you would expect.. contact management, activities, opportunity management, but I'm pretty impressed with the overall feel and user interface. The contact import function is pretty handy for new users and I love the mailmerge/ html function in the mailshot area. My first concern would be the server speed, which seems to be quite laden with traffic at peak US times. In addition, they are still developing the reports area, which may take some time. The site says that its completely unlimited, but I would think that at some time, their servers are going to get pretty jammed. But hey, considering they don't charge, its a damn good system! I'd recommend it.

Hi Anon, Thanks for posting here about your free CRM - we appreciate new CRM products being brought to our attention for the benefit of our readers. It is a pity you choose to remain anonymous though - your post (and product) would be that much more credible if you put a name behind it..
