As a sales manager of a small sales team (5) MiContacts is the perfect tool for me and my team. It gives me: * Real-time visibility into all sales activities * Compares sales activity across the sales team instantaneously (number of: accounts individuals are working on; conversations; messages; emails, etc). Simple stuff but ground breaking in terms of a true sales prospecting tool. * I can see what messaging is working or more importantly, not working, before it impacts the forecast. * MiContacts very cost effective ? pricing is based on storage. We were offered a promotional rate of £9.50 per month for 500 open tasks for 12 months ? more than enough for our purposes.
The sales guys like MiContacts because it?s simple to use and it gives them the opportunity to show me just how active they really are ? activity has become a competitive thing in the office with none of the sales guys wanting to be bottom of the monthly league table. Coaching is now based on facts meaning their activity becomes more focused and productive. Overall, MiContacts has increased productivity and we are seeing better results and intervening early where we spot problems.
The only downside for me is getting companies into MiContacts. As of today (February 2010), there is synchronisation with MS Outlook which could be better. You can also import contacts providing you have entered the company details first. However, the support team at MiContacts are fantastic (5 Stars) and have been helping me with the initial imports. They assure me that a better mechanism for importing data is in the pipeline...

Simple to use. Simple to find stuff. Wish I had been tracking my contacts using micontacts.com a long time ago.
